Overview
Contour, a long-established aviation services company, is seeking a Director of Inflight Services to join its leadership team. As the company continues to grow and diversify, the Director will play a pivotal role in the coordination, control, and operational effectiveness of Inflight services. The successful candidate will foster a culture of safety, integrity, and excellence while ensuring full compliance with CFRs and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all operations and provide exemplary service to internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee departmental operations, including training, scheduling, catering, and policy implementation.

Coordinate with the Vice President of Inflight Services to maintain operational standards, develop budgets, and manage cost accounting.

Act as a liaison with the FAA and relevant industry organizations.

Collaborate with departments such as Airport Operations, Customer Experience, Recruitment, and Flight Operations to ensure organizational reliability.

Manage staffing, resource planning, and equipment requirements.

Direct candidate screening, interviews, and hiring recommendations.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for direct reports, supervisory staff, and line flight attendants.

Serve on internal and external committees and represent the company at industry meetings.

Execute special projects and complete assignments as directed by the Vice President of Inflight Services.
Qualifications

Must be at least 23 years of age.

Minimum of five (5) years of airline experience, including at least one (1) year as an active Flight Attendant or Flight Attendant Supervisor.

Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to Inflight and airline operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access), SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and internet navigation.

Valid US or foreign passport and authorization to work in the United States with eligibility for international travel.

Valid U.S. driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal background check, fingerprinting, and DOT/FAA-mandated drug and alcohol screenings.

Capacity to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as required.

Physical ability to assist with stock acceptance and aircraft provisioning.

Must be willing to work at Contour Corporate Headquarters in Smyrna/Nashville, TN.
