Position Summary
The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers while delivering exceptional service in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. This role requires the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, maintain strict cabin safety protocols, and communicate professionally with passengers and crew.
Key Responsibilities

Perform duties in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, prioritizing safety and passenger comfort.

Conduct safety demonstrations, public announcements, and passenger instructions clearly.

Respond to in-flight emergencies, including implementing flight deck instructions, guiding evacuations, and providing emergency medical assistance (CPR/First Aid).

Assist passengers with luggage, including overhead bin management, and provide support to passengers requiring extra assistance.

Prepare and serve food and beverage offerings; maintain cabin, galley, and lavatory cleanliness.

Operate aircraft doors (up to 60 lbs), lift/stow luggage, and push/pull carts (up to 32 lbs of force).

Complete all required safety and service documentation accurately.

Perform physical tasks including reaching (up to 67 inches), bending, walking, and lifting up to 75 lbs (with or without accommodation).
Qualifications

Minimum age of 23 years.

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license and valid passport.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.

Fluent in English (bilingual skills preferred).

Must successfully complete a 10-year background check, criminal history review, fingerprinting, and reference checks.

Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random testing.

Must successfully complete the four-week Contour Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.

Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, holidays, weekends, and duty periods up to 16 hours.

Requirement to reside within one hour of assigned domicile.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range:
$34,000.00 to $42,500.00 annually, with a $2,000.00 annual retention bonus upon reaching the maximum salary.
