First Officer - Citation XL/XLS

Contour Airlines is a long-established aviation services provider committed to integrity, safety, and operational excellence. As we continue to grow, our Flight Operations Department is seeking experienced, professional, and team-oriented First Officers to join our Citation XL/XLS fleet. Successful candidates will demonstrate a dedication to safety and provide high-quality service in a fast-paced, Part 135 on-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all flight operations.
Comply with all schedules, directives, manuals, memos, and policies governing Part 135 operations.
Conduct thorough preflight planning and preparation.
Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers.
Ensure the aircraft is clean, properly provisioned, and prepared for safe and comfortable travel.
Adhere to all company uniform and professional appearance policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

Minimum age: 18 years.
Legally authorized to work in the United States with the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Valid, current passport.
Fluent in English (written, spoken, and understood); Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to pass a 10-year background check, criminal history, and TSA fingerprint checks.
Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and participate in FAA/Company-mandated random testing.
Clean safety record: No excessive check ride failures and no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.

Flight Experience Requirements

Airman Certificate: Commercial/ME
Ratings: SIC Type Rating
Medical Certificate: First-Class
Total Flight Time: 1,200 hours
Pilot in Command: 250 hours
Multi-Engine Land: 25 hours
Instrument: 75 hours
