Position Overview

Clay Lacy Aviation is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Global 7500 Captains to join its esteemed talent network for anticipated future flight opportunities. Pilots will engage in both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, offering the chance to explore diverse and exciting destinations while collaborating with an elite flight department.

Aircraft: Global 7500
Position Type: Full-time (Permanent employment only, no contract roles)
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Compensation: $390,000 - $410,000 annually
Benefits: Fully paid medical/healthcare premiums, 401(k) plan with employer match.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Experience:

  • 3,500 hours of total flight time.
  • 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • 1,000 hours of Turbine flight time.

Certifications:

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory.
  • Type certification for the Global 7500 is highly preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type. However, candidates with exceptional relevant experience may be considered.
  • All FAA certificates (including Medical, both sides) must be presented as legible, full-color copies.

Location Requirement:

  • Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to KVNY (Van Nuys Airport) or be prepared to relocate to meet this requirement. This role is not commutable.

Operational & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union (EU) countries, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
  • Strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks. Ability to pass random drug and alcohol tests as required.
  • Submission of a completed disclosure form as part of the application process.

Note: Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
