Clay Lacy Aviation is currently seeking an experienced and highly qualified Captain for a full-time, Part 91 Gulfstream GV position. This premier opportunity is based in Van Nuys, CA, offering approximately 350 to 400 flight hours annually. The successful candidate will join an elite team, demonstrating exemplary airmanship and strict adherence to the highest operational standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Prospective Captains must meet stringent requirements, ensuring the highest level of safety and professionalism:

• Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, and 1,000 hours of turbine time are required.
• Certifications: An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory. Gulfstream Type Certification (GV) with a minimum of 200 hours in type is strongly preferred; however, PIC candidates with substantial relevant experience may be considered.
• Residency and Commute: Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance of Van Nuys, CA, or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. This is not a commutable position.
• International Travel: Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to all European Union, Canadian, and Caribbean countries, is essential.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies and procedures is paramount.
• Safety Sensitive Position: This position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations. Applicants must successfully pass pre-employment DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks, and be subject to random drug/alcohol tests when required.
