Position Overview

Clay Lacy Aviation seeks exceptional aviation professionals to join its esteemed team. The company is actively seeking a highly qualified Captain for a Part 91/135 Citation Sovereign based in Seattle, Washington. This is a full-time position, not a contract role.

The Opportunity

This Captain position offers a competitive compensation plan, comprehensive fully paid medical/healthcare coverage, and a matching 401(k) retirement plan. The operation involves approximately 250 flight hours annually. Candidates must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour drivable commute distance of Seattle, WA, as this is not a commutable position.

Key Responsibilities

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Citation Sovereign. This includes:

• Operating the aircraft in compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies & procedures.
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers and crew.
• Maintaining a high level of situational awareness and procedural proficiency.
• Collaborating effectively with the flight crew and ground support.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support flight operations.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A total of 3,500 flight hours.
• A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• At least 1,000 hours of turbine aircraft time.
• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required.
• Type certification in the Citation Sovereign (CE-680) with a minimum of 200 hours in type is preferred. However, highly qualified non-typed PIC candidates with strong relevant experience will also be given consideration.
• Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Seattle, WA, or be willing to relocate to satisfy this non-commutable position requirement.
• Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
• Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening, comprehensive background checks, and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Submission of full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including medical certificate, and completion of a disclosure form as part of the application process.

Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations. All applicants are required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $180,000 to $210,000
• Fully paid medical/healthcare premium
• Matching 401(k) plan
