Captain Position at Clay Lacy Aviation
Overview
Clay Lacy Aviation, a leading provider of private jet services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join our Part 91 operations based in the Southeast, USA. The position requires a Global Express type rating.
Responsibilities
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global Express aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, and industry best practices. This includes:
- Piloting the aircraft in accordance with flight plans and safety procedures.
- Maintaining communication with air traffic control and other aircraft.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and crew.
- Performing pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Maintaining accurate flight logs and records.
- Adherence to Safety Management System (SMS) protocols.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3,500 hours of total time, 2,000 hours of PIC time, and 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
- Possession of an ATP certificate.
- Global Express Type Certification with a minimum of 200 hours in type.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance or be willing to relocate. Relocation preference should be indicated on the resume or cover letter, including an estimated timeframe.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to comply with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations, including random drug/alcohol tests when required.
- Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, as well as a completed disclosure form, are required as part of the application process.
Compensation & Benefits
Clay Lacy Aviation offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Annual salary ranging from $220,000 to $250,000.
