Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot to serve as Lead Captain or Captain for a Part 91 operation based in either Wyoming or Colorado. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional procedural abilities and situational awareness, meeting the rigorous standards that define Clay Lacy Aviation's flight crew. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and excellence.
Preference will be given to typed Captains, though non-typed Pilot-in-Command candidates possessing strong qualifications will be given due consideration. Applicants must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of the base location or be prepared to relocate. This position is not commutable.
The successful candidate will operate either a CL605 or CL650 aircraft and will receive an upgraded compensation package, fully paid medical and healthcare coverage, and a matching 401(k) plan. The position requires compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies. The position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations, and the candidate must be able to pass DOT/FAA drug screening, background checks, and submit to random drug/alcohol tests as required.
Minimum qualifications include 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, and 1,000 hours of turbine time. An ATP certificate is required. Type certification with a minimum of 200 hours in type is preferred, though PIC candidates with extensive and relevant experience may be considered. The pilot must have an unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries. Candidates must submit full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, as well as complete a disclosure form as part of the application process. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
