Opportunity Overview: Clay Lacy Aviation is actively seeking highly experienced Global 6000 Captains to join its esteemed talent network for upcoming flight opportunities. This role presents an exceptional chance to contribute to a world-class aviation team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and client service. Pilots will engage in Part 91 and Part 135 operations, flying to diverse and exciting destinations while collaborating with an elite flight department.

Position Details

  • Position: Captain
  • Aircraft: Bombardier Global 6000 (BBD-700)
  • Position Type: Full-time (W-2 employment; no contract positions available)
  • Base Location: Van Nuys, California (KVNY)

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Candidates are evaluated through a rigorous process designed to assess procedural proficiency and situational awareness. Successful applicants will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
  • Turbine Aircraft Time: 1,000 hours
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required.
  • Bombardier Global 6000 (BBD-700) type rating is mandatory, with a minimum of 200 hours of experience in type.
  • Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to KVNY or be willing to relocate. This is not a remote or commutable position.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures is essential.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment DOT/FAA drug screening and background check is mandatory. Compliance with random drug and alcohol testing requirements is also necessary.
  • Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (front and back), including medical certificate, and a completed disclosure form are required during the application process.

Compensation and Benefits

Clay Lacy Aviation offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to attract and retain top talent:

  • Annual Compensation Range: $330,000 - $360,000
  • Medical/Healthcare: Fully paid premiums for the employee.
  • Retirement Plan: Matching 401(k) plan.
