First Officer - Falcon 2000
Chartright Air Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled First Officer to join its dynamic team. The First Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations aboard the Falcon 2000 aircraft, based in Calgary. He or she will support daily operational activities, liaise with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams, and foster a collaborative environment, all while contributing to an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a First Officer on the Falcon 2000 aircraft based in Calgary.
- Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner.
- Support daily operation activities on available reserve days.
- Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered.
- Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements, and solutions.
- Provide direct customer service to clients, contributing to their exceptional client experience.
- Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
- Canadian Radio Telephone License.
- Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 500 multi-engine PIC hours; jet or turbine time is preferred.
- A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
- Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance.
- Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
- A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs.
- Previous International flying experience (Europe & South America) is preferred.
- Previous time on type is preferred.
