Chartright Air Group, a leader in the Canadian private aviation industry, is seeking a professional and safety-conscious Bell 429 Captain to join our team based out of YHZ. Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as a single pilot Captain, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Bell 429 helicopter. This role balances flight operations with administrative support and client-facing responsibilities to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Bell 429 as a single pilot Captain, maintaining the highest standards of flight safety.
  • Support daily operational activities during reserve days.
  • Collaborate with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to fulfill all operational and client service requirements.
  • Deliver superior direct customer service to contribute to an exceptional client journey.
  • Complete monthly training courses and fulfill additional operational duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Canadian ATPL or CPL (Helicopter).
  • Group 4 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical Category 1.
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 2,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time (turbine time preferred).
  • Proficiency with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • Strong technical understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
