What you will do:
Act as the Captain on the Global XRS aircraft in Simcoe
Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner
Support daily operation activities on available reserve days
Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered
Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements and solutions
Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience
Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required
What you bring:
A University degree or College diploma, preferably in Aviation
Canadian Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
Valid Transport Canada Medical
Canadian Radio License
Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time
Minimum of 2000 hours PIC in a multi-engine aircraft (turbine time preferred)
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Hands-on experience with flight management systems, glass cockpits and international flying
Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance
Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices
A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional client service, organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs
A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to support the team and at times to go above and beyond the day-to-day to meet requirements
