A reputable air operator is seeking an accomplished and highly professional aviator for the position of Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on the Bombardier Challenger 300 (CL300) aircraft. This critical role is based in Toronto and requires a commitment to operational excellence, adherence to strict safety standards, and full compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following core duties:
- Acting as the Captain (Pilot-in-Command) of the Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft, ensuring the highest level of safety and operational efficiency during all phases of flight.
- Ensuring that all flight operations are conducted safely and in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and relevant aviation regulations.
- Providing essential support to daily operation activities, including maintaining full readiness during available reserve days as required by the flight schedule.
Minimum Professional Qualifications and Experience
Candidates applying for this leadership position must meet or exceed the following mandatory requirements:
Flight Time Requirements:
- Minimum Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours.
- Minimum Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours. (Preference will be extended to candidates possessing previous turbine aircraft experience).
Licensing and Certifications:
- Possession of a valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or a Canadian Commercial Pilot License (CPL) supplemented by a successful IATRA written examination.
- Current Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) rating.
- A valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
- A valid Canadian Radio Telephone Operator’s License.
