Challenge Airlines (BE) S.A., a cargo airline based at Liège Airport, Belgium, is seeking a Pilot Reserve to join its Flight Operations Department. This role is crucial in supporting safe and efficient flight operations, encompassing duties such as pre-flight checks, air traffic control communication, and comprehensive flight reporting.

About the Role

The Pilot Reserve will function as a Flight Crew Member, reporting to the Chief Pilot. Responsibilities include ensuring aircraft safety, cockpit management, flight-plan execution, and meticulous monitoring of weather and traffic. The role also involves post-flight reporting and maintaining aircraft status records. While this position covers general reserve pilot qualifications, additional requirements are specified for Captain roles, including specific Boeing type rating experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
• Hold a valid EASA ATPL or CPL licence.
• Hold a valid EASA Part-Med Class 1 medical certificate.
• Demonstrate at least ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Understanding of applicable federal aviation safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Preferred recent Boeing experience; B777 or B747-400 experience is listed as an asset.

Captain Position Requirements

• Minimum total flight time: 6,000 hours.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on type or 3,000 hours as PIC on medium-heavy or jet aircraft.
• Hold a valid EASA ATPL with a valid B777 or B747-400 type rating.
• Recent B777 or B747-400 experience is required.
• Substantial medium-heavy or jet time.
