Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Possession of an ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and same-state ATPL examination credits, obtained without exemption or conversion.
• A minimum of 250 hours of total flying experience (1000 hours and Multi-crew cooperation experience are preferred).
• Eligibility for a Hong Kong CPL conversion in accordance with DCA607 (refer to the HKCAD for specific details).
• A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English language proficiency Level 4 or above.

The selection process involves a pre-employment medical check, including a HKCAD Class 1 medical assessment. Successful candidates are also required to pass a pre-employment background check, including criminal record verification, and a pre-employment drug test in accordance with HKCAD Guidance for screening of Psychoactive Substances - Annex B, CAD373. The HKCAD Aeromedical policy outlines the full requirements for fitness to fly.
