JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Pilot in Command in transporting passengers and/or cargo safely, efficiently, and in a professional manner, while adhering to all FAA rules and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the PIC in piloting the aircraft safely, complying with all FAA, Customs, and airport rules and regulations

Report for duty in sufficient time to do preflight inspections and paperwork prior to dispatch time

Notify the Chief Pilot whenever the pilot may violate any rule due to being dispatched on a flight

Notify the Chief Pilot whenever a medical deficiency exists that would affect the safety of the flight

Transport passengers and/or cargo to the required destinations, whether U.S.-based or international, on time and without restriction

Work with Customs and provide all necessary documentation

Provide dispatch with updates on location, time, paperwork, and aircraft data

Communicate effectively with air traffic control as needed

Remain up to date with FAA rules, regulations, and procedures

Complete required training, flight checks, and/or recurrent training

Obtain proper certificates and medical status as needed

Utilize the Safety Management System to positively impact the company’s policies, efficiency, and commitment to safety
REQUIREMENTS

Commercial or ATP Certificate
-
Active US Passport
-
Minimum of 800 hours
-
Class II Medical

Part 135 Experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
When out on a trip, Beechjet SICs may be required to unload cargo/luggage weighing up to 100 pounds from the aircraft. This position also requires the employee to sit in a small, confined space for hours at a time, and to climb into and out of the airplane repeatedly.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires travel often. The Pilot position requires travel to other states and/or other countries several times per week, with possible overnight stays away from home and possible weekend work.
Pilots must have the ability to travel to and from Canada, Mexico, and other countries as required without restriction.
