Position Overview: Metro Captain

Carson Air is seeking a talented, motivated, and safety-focused Pilot to join our growing aviation team. This position offers a unique opportunity to operate turbine-powered, pressurized, high-performance Metro aircraft, allowing pilots to build critical skills in multi-engine operations, instrument weather, two-crew resource management, and mountain flying across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities

The Metro Captain holds overall responsibility for the safe, efficient, and timely operation of the aircraft. This role entails full oversight of the First Officer and the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company standards.

Required Certification, Education, and Experience

• Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi-Engine IFR rating (ATPL preferable).
• IATRA or ATPL exams written.
• No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and internet navigation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1500 hours of total flight time.
• 500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• 250 hours of multi-engine PIC (Pilot-in-Command) time.
• Previous Metroliner experience.
• Aviation diploma.

Additional Information

Successful candidates will be required to sign a Training Bond Agreement unless they currently hold a valid type rating for the BE30 aircraft.
