Job Summary
The Captain, ATR, reports to the Fleet Manager, ATR. The incumbent is responsible for the safe operation of the ATR aircraft in accordance with the Company’s Operating Manuals and is tasked with effecting all reasonably possible economies on each flight assignment. This position is a fixed-term, contract-based engagement.
Eligibility Requirements

Possession of a valid and current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by the TTCAA or an ICAO contracting state, including a valid medical certificate, a valid proficiency check, and an English proficiency endorsement.

Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,000 hours as P1/P1 U/S on multi-engine, multi-crew turboprop or jet aircraft.

Flight times must be verified by Pilot Personal Logbook endorsement and validated by the state of license issue or the previous operator.

Possession of a valid Instrument Rating.

Successful completion of a Caribbean Airlines medical examination.

Satisfactory assessment by the Caribbean Airlines pilot selection board, including demonstration of English fluency for ATC requirements.

Successful completion of a security background check.

Successful completion of company training and proficiency checks.

Possession of a valid medical assessment meeting TTCAA requirements (valid for no more than 12 months).

A degree in Airline/Airport Management, Aerospace Technology, or Aeronautical Science is considered an asset.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong customer service orientation, the ability to work independently within defined guidelines and standard operating procedures, and possess excellent communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
