Cargojet is Seeking Qualified Pilots
Cargojet is actively recruiting highly skilled and motivated pilots to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, along with a proven ability to excel in a demanding international cargo operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Type Rating: The candidate must hold a valid type rating on at least one of the aircraft types currently operated by Cargojet, specifically the Boeing 757 or Boeing 767.
- Flight Experience: The applicant must possess a minimum of 500 hours of commercial flight experience as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) exceeding 100,000 lbs, operating in international service. Further, they must be qualified for line flying duties as PIC on a Cargojet aircraft type.
- License: The candidate is required to hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Licensing Authority: The ATPL must be issued by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA).
- Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): The applicant must demonstrate proficiency at ICAO ELP level 4 or higher.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: The company's position on COVID-19 vaccination is not currently specified.
- Visa Sponsorship: Cargojet is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
