Requirements for Direct Entry Captain - A320 Type Rated

Minimum 3,500 factorized flight hours.

Current Airbus A3xx full FBW (Full Fly-By-Wire) type rating and Instrument Rating (IR) on a valid license.

Minimum 500 flight hours on Airbus A320 aircraft.

Minimum 1,000 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on Airbus A3xx full FBW aircraft.
Requirements for Direct Entry Captain - Non-Type Rated

Minimum 3,500 factorized flight hours.

Current multi-engine class/type rating and Instrument Rating (IR) on a valid license.

Minimum 1,000 flight hours as PIC on certified Multi-Engine Turbine (MET) aircraft (jet/fan) with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes, operating within a public commercial air transport (CAT) environment (excluding business/corporate aviation).
