About the Role

Wizz Air, Europe's fastest-growing low-cost airline, is seeking Direct Entry Captains for its turbojet fleet. Requirements

• Minimum 3,500 factorized flight hours.
• A current multi-engine class/type rating combined with an Instrument Rating (IR) on a valid pilot license.
• Either:
• Minimum 1,500 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on certified Multi-Pilot Aeroplanes (MPA) with engines such as jet/fan and a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes, operating within a public commercial air transport (CAT) environment (excluding business/corporate operations).
• Or:
• Minimum 500 flight hours as PIC on certified MPA jet/fan aeroplanes with an MTOW greater than or equal to 20 tonnes, operating within any CAT environment (including business/corporate operations).

Qualifications

• Factorized hours are calculated by applying specific factors to different categories of flight experience. The sum of these factorized hours must meet the minimum requirement.
• Simulator hours are excluded from the total flight hour calculation.
