Cape Air | Captain

The Captain reports directly to the Chief Pilot and is to maintain a professional and businesslike environment in the cockpit which is conducive to the safe and efficient conduct of the flight at all times.

To be considered for the Part-Time Captain position, applicants must hold an unrestricted FAA ATP certificate at the time off applying.

135 Operation Requirements

* FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Licenses with Instrument Rating
* FAA ATP multi-engine land
* FAA First Class Medical

* Minimum 1,500 hours Total Time
* Minimum 500 hours Cross-Country Time
* Minimum 100 hours Night Time

* Minimum 75 hours Instrument Time
* Minimum 50 hours Multi-Engine Time

Preferred:

* Bachelors degree from an AABI accredited school
* 1 year of full-time flight instruction

NOTE:

* Part-Time Scheduling
* Must be willing based in San Juan, PR

* Must be available to work two (2) or three (3) days per calendar week
* Working days are not required to be consecutive

* Must work at least two (2) weekend days per month (Saturday or Sunday)
* Must work 20-30 hours per week. Additional flying may be picked up from the Open-Time Pool.
