About the Role
Cakum Global is seeking experienced ATR72 First Officers for a regional airline operation based in Papua New Guinea. This presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing regional airline, operating modern ATR72 aircraft within one of the world's most unique and challenging aviation environments. This First Officer role involves operating ATR72 aircraft across domestic and regional routes within Papua New Guinea. The successful First Officer will support safe and efficient airline operations, adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards in a professional multi-crew environment. This position requires operating in remote and developing regions, demanding adaptability, resilience, and a strong safety-focused, team-oriented mindset. Long-term contract opportunities are available for suitable candidates.
Candidate Profile

Motivated and safety-focused pilot with a professional, team-oriented mindset.

Current or previous ATR72 experience is highly regarded.

Experience on modern turboprop aircraft preferred, including ATR, Dash 8 / Q400, EMB-120, or similar regional aircraft.

Regional airline or multi-crew turboprop experience is preferred.

Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) and operational discipline.

Positive attitude with a strong safety culture and company-first mindset.

Ability to work effectively in dynamic and challenging operating environments, requiring adaptability and resilience.
Qualifications

Valid commercial pilot licences and ratings applicable to airline operations.
