Join CAE in a pioneering initiative to establish Canada's first dedicated Air Traffic Services division. Through a unique partnership with NAV CANADA, CAE is set to deliver initial training for Flight Service Specialists and Air Traffic Controllers, utilizing NAV CANADA's established curriculum and courseware. Launching in Fall 2024 at a new, purpose-built Air Traffic Services Training Center on CAE’s Montreal campus, this venture aims to build an innovative, customer-centric team focused on accelerating training for over 150 students annually while upholding quality and transparency for anchor customer, NAV CANADA.
This collaboration unites the strengths of two Canadian industry leaders to address future air traffic management needs. As the world's largest aviation training provider, CAE is uniquely positioned to work alongside NAV CANADA, the world's second-largest Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP), to cultivate a highly proficient workforce, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the national air traffic system. This partnership enhances training capacity, complementing NAV CANADA's existing programs delivered across the country.
The Air Traffic Services Pseudo Pilot at CAE plays a pivotal role in delivering realistic and effective simulator training for aspiring air traffic controllers. This position involves acting as a pilot within simulator sessions, providing essential interactions that allow students to gain hands-on experience in a controlled, immersive environment.
