Air Traffic Services Pseudo Pilot
CAE is building an innovative air traffic services division and seeks a skilled Air Traffic Services Pseudo Pilot to play a crucial role in simulator sessions. The successful candidate will act as a pilot, providing realistic and effective training scenarios for future air traffic controllers at CAE's new Air Traffic Services Training Center in Montreal. This position contributes to providing hands-on experience in a controlled and immersive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate aircraft simulations in accordance with scenarios and instructions from the training team.
- Interact with students to simulate real-world pilot behaviors and communication.
- Provide realistic pilot inputs and responses to facilitate effective air traffic control training.
- Use precise aviation language to communicate effectively with students and instructors.
- Document and report on simulation sessions, noting any issues or areas for improvement.
- Work closely with instructors to tailor simulation scenarios that meet specific training objectives.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and French, with a strong command of aviation terminology in both languages.
- Proficiency in aviation language and procedures.
- Experience or training in aviation is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to realism in simulation scenarios.
- Previous experience in a simulation or training environment is a plus.
- A passion for aviation and contributing to the development of future air traffic professionals.
