Job Overview

CAE is seeking a dedicated professional to support the Joint Interoperability Division (JID) in its mission as the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) proponent for the Joint Tactical Operations (JTO) Interface Training Program. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational forces can effectively leverage JTO Interface systems through comprehensive curriculum development, instruction, and exercise support for joint, allied, and coalition forces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and instruct JID course materials, utilizing modern electronic classroom enhancements and multimedia.
  • Perform curriculum reviews and oversee courseware development.
  • Liaison with Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation.
  • Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages and manage Link 16 network configurations for JTO exercises.
  • Analyze multi-TDL architecture performance and implement improvements based on observations.
  • Coordinate the procurement and evaluation of JICO automated tools while maintaining configuration management.
  • Represent the JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups.
  • Manage course administration, including scheduling, field training coordination, and student communications.
  • Support world-wide deployments via Mobile Training Teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of Multi-TDL experience and training.
  • Proven military instructor experience.
  • Possess or be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance (DoD Personal Security Clearance required).
  • Ability to deploy worldwide in support of Mobile Training Teams, including under field conditions.
  • Educational Requirements: Associate Degree preferred; one year of related experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) or curriculum development.

The incumbent must strictly comply with all company security, data protection, and usage policies. Responsibilities include the proper marking, handling, and storage of all information and materials. Employees must maintain confidentiality, ensuring information is only shared with authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the use of standard office equipment. Physical demands include the ability to sit for extended periods and the requirement to travel to domestic (CONUS) and international sites.
