Electrical Instructor - Randwick, NSW
CAE is seeking an experienced Electrical Instructor to join its team. The successful candidate will report to the CAE Senior Instructor and be responsible for delivering a range of training courses using various methodologies, including face-to-face, blended learning, eLearning, emulators, and part-task trainers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specific training courses, encompassing all necessary activities.
- Provide support for operational instruction to achieve successful training outcomes and events.
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Implement approved changes to maintain learning management packages.
- Demonstrate and integrate safe behaviour in daily operations.
Training Areas Include:
- Naval Electrical Systems and Equipment Maintenance
- Naval Power Generation Equipment
- Integrated Platform Management Systems Operation/Maintenance
- PLC Programming/Maintenance
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain this qualification within the first 12 months of employment.
- Hold a Certificate III or higher qualification in Electrical Fitting or a related field.
- A background in the Navy is considered advantageous but not essential.

Security Requirements:
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance is mandatory for this role, as the Australian Department of Defence is a significant client. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible for a clearance.
