UAV Pilot Instructor
Overview:
An opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced UAV Pilot Instructor to contribute to Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) training delivery programs in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team responsible for providing comprehensive academic and practical instruction within a classroom environment. This role is crucial in supporting customer capabilities through effective training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
The UAV Pilot Instructor is responsible for leveraging extensive aviation and training expertise to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position involves significant customer interaction, focusing on identifying and fulfilling customer needs and requests.
Specific duties include:
- Delivering academic and practical instruction in a classroom setting.
- Developing, delivering, and maintaining training courseware utilizing varied computer skills (text and graphics).
- Providing RPA system training within areas of expertise.
- Utilizing a variety of instructional aids, including multimedia presentations (videos, slides, PowerPoint), system components, and simulators.
- Delivering training to customers at Al Majma’ah, Saudi Arabia.
- Independently resolving a broad range of issues encountered during training delivery.
- Maintaining a strong customer focus and supporting customer requirements effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold or have previously held a military pilot rating or a current/previously held FAA/EASA/CAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) / Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or equivalent.
- Previous experience is essential as an instructor pilot or operator, such as USAF specialty code "K", RAF QFI/QWI, or a civilian equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1000 total pilot/operator flying hours (simulated and/or live) is required.
- Within the total hours, a minimum of 500 pilot/operator flying hours must be on fixed-wing UAV types.
- A minimum of 2 years of UAV and/or UAV-related instructional experience is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
- Proven ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and feedback.
- Capability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
- Ability to obtain the necessary employment visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
