Instructor Pilot - Gulfstream 650 - Las Vegas
CAE, a global leader in modelling, simulation, and training for civil aviation, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor Pilot to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Responsibilities:
- Deliver flight training in a flight simulator and ground school, adhering to regulatory agency standards, CAE approved curriculum, and client requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned aircraft types, providing guidance and instruction during training sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive pre and post flight simulator briefings, ensuring compliance with CAE standards.
- Complete training records, recommend remedial training when necessary, and actively maintain instructional qualifications and activity.
- Participate in the development of curricula and courseware, acting as a SME for the creation of training materials.
- After a minimum of 1.5 years, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman as per business needs.
Qualifications:
- Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating.
- Demonstrate a passion for teaching others through strong communication skills.
- Possess basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs.
- Be willing to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Prior experience flying business aircraft is advantageous.
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
