Flight Simulator Instructor

Overview

This role encompasses the delivery of training within a flight simulator environment, and occasionally in ground school, adhering to relevant regulatory and customer requirements. The successful candidate will provide simulator/flight instruction for a single aircraft type rating, facilitating the issuance of licenses, type ratings, and certificates. Additionally, they will conduct ground school instruction within a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough and professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings, adhering to CAE standards.
• Execute essential administrative tasks, including the completion of training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and maintaining their own instructional qualifications.
• Contribute to the development of curriculum and courseware as needed.

Qualifications

• Possessing an existing instructor qualification or rating issued by a Regulatory Authority is desirable.
• Meeting the minimum qualification and experience requirements for qualification as a Flight/Simulator/Ground School Instructor is essential.
• Holding or having held a professional pilot's license is required.
• Demonstrating proficiency as a trainer and facilitator is crucial.

This is an On Call (Fixed Term) position.
