The Opportunity
CAE Defense & Security is seeking a highly qualified and experienced CV-22 Pilot to join their team as an Aircrew Instructor. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional academic and simulator training to officer and enlisted personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide formal aircrew academic and simulator training for initial qualification, requalification, instructor upgrade, and key staff students.
- Train students on combat search and rescue missions utilizing NVG low-level flight, helicopter aerial refueling operations, alternate insertion and extraction methods, emergency procedures, systems instruction, and tactical operations.
- Deliver academic and simulator refresher training to qualified officer and enlisted CV-22 aircrew members.
- Contribute to the development of courseware and ensure adherence to the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process.
- Obtain Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) instructor certification.
Qualifications:
- Current as a Pilot in the CV-22 within the previous two years, or within the previous 8 years with 8 years of military operational flying duty and at least two years or 200 hours of experience as an in-flight instructor in the CV-22.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1000+ hours in the CV-22.
- 100+ hours of Night Vision Goggle time.
- 300+ hours of instructor time.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
