Our mission is to equip military customers with the tools and knowledge necessary to achieve and sustain the highest levels of mission readiness.
About the Role:
The C-130J Flight Instructor plays a vital role in preparing aircrews for success by delivering comprehensive academic and simulator instruction across the AC-130J, HC-130J, and MC-130J aircraft and mission sets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize diverse instructional techniques to deliver technically accurate training materials, ensuring strict adherence to regulations.
- Mentor and guide aircrews through demanding processes, fostering a deep understanding of aircraft systems and mission procedures.
- Function as a subject matter expert, contributing to the evaluation of existing lessons and the development of new curriculum as required.
- Maintain an expert level of proficiency to conduct basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 200 hours of USAF Instructor experience in the C-130J, AC-130J, HC-130J, or MC-130J airframe.
- Demonstrated ability to meet rigorous written and performance evaluations showcasing expert knowledge and instructional ability.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and outdoor environments as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Community College of the Air Force qualification and formal training in instructor methodologies and curriculum development.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining authorized software lists for assigned systems.
