About the Role:
CAE, a global leader in aviation training and simulation, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Instructor Pilot to join their esteemed team. In this rewarding role, the selected candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class flight training utilizing state-of-the-art flight simulators and leading ground school instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive flight simulator and classroom instruction across a range of aircraft types, leading to the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training certificates, and pilot qualifications.
- Conduct thorough and professional pre and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE's high standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through their training journey and offering expertise in curriculum and courseware development when required.
- Maintain meticulous training records, recommend remedial training as needed, and diligently track personal instructional qualifications and activities.
- Embrace the opportunity to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after demonstrating proficiency (typically 1.5+ years).
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating.
- Demonstrate a passion for teaching and mentoring, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
- Willingness to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Corporate/Part 135 experience is preferred.
- Single Pilot experience is considered a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
