Role and Responsibilities
Main responsibilities
+ Responsible for conducting pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in accordance with CAE standards.
+ Conducting each simulator session in accordance with the CAE, Aircraft Manufacturer or the customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as required.
+ Providing simulator flight instruction for the issue of licenses, type ratings and certificates.
+ Completing the appropriate client training records accurately and comprehensively to ensure client understanding and a seamless handover to other instructors.
+ Where necessary recommending remedial training for a client who is not meeting the required training progress.
+ Recording simulator usage and discrepancies using the appropriate procedures.
+ Tracking the validity of instructional qualifications to ensure that he or she remains qualified to deliver training at all times in accordance with contractual commitments.
+ Acting as subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required.
+ Act as invigilator when examination is conducted
Requirements
Successful candidates will be passionate about teaching and excel in communicating their aviation knowledge and experience. The candidate possesses fluent English language skills (minimum ICAO level 5) as well as basic computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, a.s.o.). Next to excellent interpersonal skills (and being used to extensive client contact), a working knowledge of relevant aviation regulations is required as well. Moreover, the ideal candidate is based locally (if not, must have the right to work and live in Europe).Specifically, permanent employees
+ Would preferably hold licensing for being an instructor on type, However, these are not strict requirement.
+ Minimum requirement is 1500+ hours of total flight time.
+ Ideally has previous Instructor experience
