Role and Responsibilities

The EASA Flight Instructor Lead is responsible for delivering high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction to students in compliance with the CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy Training and Safety standards and applicable aviation authority regulations. The EASA Flight Instructor Lead is responsible for coaching, checking and mentoring a group of Flight Instructors and providing feedback and input for the performance management process to the responsible manager. The EASA Flight Instructor Lead puts a strong focus on professional behavior and attitude besides strong theoretical and practical knowledge of flying. Therefore ‘teaching and leading by example’ is a crucial responsibility for the Flight Instructor Lead. Performs all duties and responsibilities of Flight Instructor.
