Job Title: Ground School Instructor (GSI) - Business Aviation

Location: Vienna (Schwechat), Austria

Position Type: Regular (Full-Time)

Overview

CAE is establishing a premier Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna, Austria, and invites experienced aviation professionals to join the inaugural operations team. This purpose-built 8,000-square-metre facility features state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS), including G550, PH100/300, Global 7500, and Global 6000 Vision models. As a Ground School Instructor (GSI), you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class instruction to business aviation clients.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert ground school instruction, including classroom-based training, for initial and recurrent courses using VSIM and Integrated Procedures Trainers (IPT).
  • Maintain accurate and concise trainee records in accordance with CAE policies and quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop industry colleagues within a high-performance training environment.
  • Foster a professional and welcoming training experience for diverse business aviation clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-performance aircraft and instructional delivery.
  • Previous instructional experience (e.g., Certified Flight Instructor - CFI) is ideal but not required.
  • High-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Commitment to a full-time, permanent work schedule based on-site in Schwechat.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the Vienna Training Centre.
  • Willingness to travel outside of Austria for initial type rating training.
  • Legal right to live and work in Austria is highly desirable.
