About the Role
CAE is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated
CJ3 Instructor Pilot
to join their team in the United States. This pivotal role involves delivering world-class simulator and ground school instruction, guiding aspiring pilots through comprehensive training for the
CJ3
aircraft, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and CAE's curriculum.
As a
CJ3 Instructor Pilot
at CAE, you will be instrumental in developing confident, highly skilled aviators. Your expertise will be vital in leading clients through comprehensive training programs, utilizing CAE-approved curriculum, and upholding exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Deliver flight simulator and ground school training aligned with regulatory standards, CAE curriculum, and customer specific requirements.

Act as a subject matter expert (
SME
), providing guidance through all phases of pilot training.

Provide simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for various aviation qualifications, including licenses, type ratings, and certificates.

Conduct professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.

Complete all necessary administrative tasks, such as maintaining training records and monitoring instructor qualifications.

Contribute to curriculum and courseware development as an
SME
when required.

Opportunity to qualify as a
Training Center Evaluator (TCE)
and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years, based on business needs.

Participate in training programs that may include international travel and extended stays.
-
Maintain a professional and welcoming learning environment, adapting training methodologies for diverse clientele.
-
Ensure accurate and timely documentation compliant with
CAE
and
FAA
requirements.
Requirements
-
High School diploma or state-issued equivalent.
-
A minimum of 3,000+ hours of total flight time.
-
2–5 years of job-relevant experience.
-
Strong customer service orientation.
-
Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
-
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
-
Ability to participate in CAE's DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program.
-
Hold an unrestricted
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
and one unrestricted
Pilot in Command (PIC) type rating
.

Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written).
-
Strong listening and presentation skills.
-
Ability to constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
-
Ability to occasionally move into various positions, including confined spaces.
-
Capacity to remain in stationary positions for prolonged periods (standing or sitting).
-
Ability to occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.
-
Ability to occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds.
-
Ability to occasionally perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions.
Qualifications
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
-
Previous teaching or training experience.
-
Existing instructor qualification or type rating.
-
FAR Part 135
experience.
-
CJ3 Type Rating
.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Capability to tailor training to diverse customer needs.

Keen attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills.

Previous experience as a
142 Instructor
and/or
Training Center Evaluator (TCE)
.

Experience flying business aircraft.
