Flight Instructor
CAE is seeking a motivated and disciplined Flight Instructor to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality training and contributing to the continuous improvement of our aviation training programs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct training duties in accordance with the FSI job description.

Adhere to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Recommend revisions to SOPs to enhance effectiveness.

Assist in the preparation of courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, to meet regulatory requirements.

Monitor client and student progress, developing action plans for those requiring additional support.

Promote and support improvements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials used by the Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

Participate in Progress, Academic & Disciplinary Review Boards, providing recommendations for remedial actions.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Instructor or Head of Training (HOT).
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on a multi-crew jet transport aircraft.

Hold a valid Flight Instructor Rating or an equivalent rating or certification.

Previous experience as a Flight Simulator Instructor or Type Rating Instructor is preferred.

Previous experience in Airline/ATO training is required.

Hold or have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with a minimum ICAO English level of 5.

Possess knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing civil aviation training.

Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and motivate others in a remote working environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Proven leadership skills and a track record of effective collaboration in a multi-cultural environment.

Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
