The state-of-the-art facility features advanced Full Flight Simulators for leading business jet manufacturers. As a full-time Instructor, you will leverage your aviation expertise to deliver world-class Synthetic Flight & Ground School instruction, guiding clients through their training programs with reduced travel requirements.
Role Summary
The Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructor will provide expert instruction in simulators and classrooms, ensuring a comprehensive training experience for clients. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate trainee records, utilizing cutting-edge equipment, and contributing to the enhancement of training materials.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver client training, including classroom systems, performance ground school, and simulator-based pilot training, ensuring quality and adherence to qualifications.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant authorizations and qualifications.
- Pursue opportunities to increase instructor qualifications as required by the program.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-flight briefings.
- Propose modifications to curriculum and courseware to improve client training experiences.
- Support the Lead Instructor with assigned duties.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and electronic records.
- Provide single-client seat support when necessary.
- Deliver segments of initial and recurrent ground school training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possesses high-performance aircraft and instructional experience.
- Skilled in mentoring and developing industry colleagues.
Qualifications
- EASA license is required.
- Minimum of 500 single-pilot hours is required.
- Previous instructional experience (CFI, SFI, or SFE) is ideal but not mandatory.
- High-level proficiency in reading, speaking, and conversing in English.
- Demonstrates a meticulous approach to training delivery, including the ability to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with company policies.
- Ability to adapt training sessions to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based programs.
- Flexibility to commit to a full-time work schedule.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to the Training Centre in Schwechat.
- The right to live and work in Austria is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake initial type and SFI ratings, potentially involving time spent outside of Austria.
