Training System Specialist Pilot

A prominent aviation organization is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training System Specialist Pilot. This critical role combines deep operational pilot expertise with specialized knowledge in the development and optimization of advanced flight training systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pilot instruction and ensuring the highest standards of flight crew proficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing innovative training programs and modules, incorporating cutting-edge simulation technologies and instructional methodologies.
  • Applying extensive pilot knowledge to ensure the realism, accuracy, and effectiveness of flight training devices (FTDs) and full-flight simulators (FFSs).
  • Collaborating closely with flight operations, training departments, and technical teams to integrate new systems and enhance existing training platforms.
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and validations of training systems to verify compliance with national and international aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO).
  • Analyzing training data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous enhancements to the training curriculum and systems.
  • Providing expert guidance and technical support on all aspects of pilot training technology and system functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or equivalent, with significant flight experience in a commercial or military aviation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in aviation training, simulator operations, or instructional system design is highly preferred.
  • A comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations, flight operations procedures, and pilot training methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and simulation platforms, with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
