Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert flight and ground instruction for various pilot certificates and ratings, adhering strictly to approved training syllabi and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO).
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings, post-flight debriefings, and regular progress evaluations for student pilots.
- Monitor and assess student performance, offering constructive feedback and tailored instruction to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential training records and logbooks.
- Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of flight training materials and curriculum.
- Ensure all flight operations and training activities are conducted with paramount regard for safety.
- Mentor students, guiding them through complex aviation concepts and practical flight scenarios.
- Participate in standardization flights and instructor development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with appropriate Flight Instructor ratings (e.g., CFI, CFII, MEI, FI(A), IRI).
- Demonstrable experience as a Pilot Instructor or Flight Instructor, with a proven track record of successful student training and check ride passes.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, aircraft systems, aerodynamics, meteorology, and navigation.
- Exceptional pedagogical skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A Class 1 or 2 Medical Certificate (as required by regulatory authority).
