Pilot Instructor - Aviation Training Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The Pilot Instructor will be responsible for providing comprehensive flight instruction and ground school training to students at various stages of their aviation journey. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Evaluating student progress through regular assessments, offering constructive feedback, and ensuring proficiency in all required areas.
  • Maintaining meticulous training records, logbooks, and documentation as per company and regulatory standards.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence throughout all instructional activities.
  • Staying current with aviation regulations, procedures, and technological advancements to ensure the delivery of up-to-date training.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates for the Pilot Instructor position are expected to possess:

  • Valid and current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with appropriate instructor ratings (e.g., FI, CRI, IRI) relevant to the instructional role.
  • Significant flight experience, including prior instructional experience in a professional aviation training environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of aviation theory, aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, and aircraft systems.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills, with the ability to motivate and guide students effectively.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team and adapt to evolving training demands.
