C2 Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Pilot with a 14 CFR Part 107 certificate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a professional approach to flight discipline, strong judgment, and a commitment to safety. Experience conducting inspections of Electrical Transmission & Distribution structures, particularly within California, is highly desired.
This critical role will contribute significantly to the prevention of infrastructure failures and utility-caused wildfires. The Drone Pilot will utilize various platforms, autopilots, and sensors to conduct flight operations.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience operating uncrewed aircraft in small, deployed teams with minimal direct supervision. Based in Southern California, this position requires continuous deployment for the duration of the project.
The UAV Pilot (RPIC) will be responsible for all pre-flight, flight, and post-flight duties on company-owned aircraft. They will be cross-trained on multiple positions and platforms to ensure operational flexibility and minimal crew requirements across various customer bases.
