Buzz, a leading Polish low-cost carrier and part of the Ryanair Group, is seeking a qualified Direct Entry First Officer to join their team. This exciting opportunity operates from their base in Budapest, Hungary, flying the modern Boeing 737NG fleet.

About the Role

As a First Officer, you will be responsible for operating scheduled low-cost passenger services on Buzz's Boeing 737NG (737-800 / 737-8200) aircraft. This role offers the chance to contribute to Europe's largest low-cost airline group, with excellent earning potential and a structured career path. The roster pattern is a stable 5-on/4-off schedule, published four weeks in advance, providing predictability for work-life balance.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Frozen ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with an Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating, issued under EASA regulations. A minimum of 700 total flight hours is required, including at least 500 hours as a First Officer on a multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft in commercial air transport operations (flight instructor time is not applicable). Essential certifications include ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 and a valid Class 1 medical certificate. Candidates must also be able to pass an enhanced background check and meet all relevant regulatory requirements. No existing type rating is necessary, as comprehensive type-rating training will be provided. Successful applicants will need to possess the independent right to work in Hungary. The selection process includes a paid online assessment, a simulator evaluation, and an in-person interview.
