Bulgaria Air | A320 First Officer

Bulgaria Air, the National Airline of Bulgaria, is seeking an experienced Full-Time First Officer (FO) to join its flight crew team. This role supports expanding scheduled operations within Europe and EMEA, flying the Airbus A220 fleet from the Sofia base. The successful candidate will be either type-rated or non-type-rated on the A220.

About the Role

The First Officer will contribute to Bulgaria Air's operational efficiency and safety standards, flying a modern fleet of Airbus A220 aircraft. The position involves scheduled flights primarily to major international hub-airports across Europe.

Requirements

• Valid EU FCL CPL or ATPL license
• Valid EASA Medical Class 1
• ICAO English proficiency level 4 or higher
• Minimum of 1500 flight hours
• Minimum of 200 flight hours completed within the last 12 months
• Fluent in Bulgarian
• Clean Criminal Record
• Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills
• Strong self-motivation and a commitment to the highest safety and responsibility standards

Qualifications

• Type rating on the Airbus A220 (BD500) is advantageous, with training provided and covered by the airline under a 5-year bond for non-type-rated candidates.
