Cabin Crew Member - Reserve List - Brussels Airlines
Brussels Airlines is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its Cabin Crew team for the upcoming 2025 flying season. This opportunity allows candidates to be considered for the reserve list, ensuring a chance to participate in the selection process for future training courses.
Mission
As a Cabin Crew Member, you will be the primary point of contact for passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service, anticipating and fulfilling passengers' needs.
- Maintaining cabin safety and security, adhering to company procedures and regulatory guidelines set by the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority.
- Arriving punctually and prepared for pre-flight briefings, maintaining company grooming standards.
Profile Requirements
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Be at least 18 years of age by the start of training.
- Demonstrate excellent language skills in English, French, and Dutch. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
- Possess a diploma demonstrating at least an A2 level of language proficiency.
- Exhibit punctuality, discretion, and a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Demonstrate empathy towards passengers and maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends.
- Possess a genuine interest in diverse cultures and be open to working on both short-haul and long-haul routes.
- Be able to swim at least 25 meters.
- Meet the medical requirements stipulated by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
- Be willing to wear the company uniform with pride and strictly adhere to the internal style guide, including the prohibition of visible tattoos on the face, head, neck, and hands.
Training Plan
After a successful selection process, candidates will be added to the reserve list. Once training courses for the 2025 season are scheduled, candidates will be assigned to a suitable training based on availability and the number of available spaces.
Brussels Airlines offers two training programs:
- Ab Initio Training: This comprehensive program lasts for 8 to 9 weeks.
- Direct Entry Training: Designed for experienced candidates, this training program lasts for 2 to 3 weeks.
Upon successful completion of the chosen training program, candidates will be offered a temporary contract with Brussels Airlines.
