Opportunity Overview
Royal Jordanian, a prominent international airline and one of the most significant operators in the Arabian Peninsula, is seeking qualified Embraer 170/190 (E1) Captains. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition to the Embraer E2 aircraft, with the airline providing comprehensive training. Successful candidates will be employed on a direct contract with Brookfield, ensuring a stable and professional working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a current Embraer 170/190 E1 Captain with a strong flight background and a valid type rating. The airline is committed to developing its flight crew, and therefore, candidates currently flying the E1 will be trained for the E2. A robust set of qualifications is required to ensure operational excellence and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid EASA, ICAO, or UK CAA Pilot Licence.
- Minimum total flight hours: 5,000 hours.
- Minimum Jet (Turbofan and Turbo Prop) flight hours: 3,000 hours.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on Jet Airlines: 1,500 hours.
- Minimum PIC hours on Embraer 170/190: 500 hours.
- Embraer 170/190 type rating, valid for at least 3 months.
- Last flight on an Embraer 170/190 within the last 3 months.
- Valid Medical Class 1.
Contract Terms and Benefits
This contract provides a competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive set of benefits designed to support a comfortable and productive work environment for flight crew stationed in Amman, Jordan.
Contract Details:
- Monthly Net Salary: USD 12,300.
- Accommodation: Provided in a 5-star hotel.
- Transportation: Ground transportation is provided.
- Travel: Positioning tickets and ID90 tickets through the airline's network are included.
- Insurance: International Medical Insurance is provided.
- Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable.
- Roster: 8 days off per month (not necessarily consecutive). Two consecutive periods of 8 days off can be combined for a total of 16 consecutive days off, subject to approval.
- E2 Training Bond: A 12-month bond with the airline is required for E2 training.
