The Client and The Direct Entry Captain Role
A leading, fast-growing, and established European airline is seeking highly skilled and experienced aviation professionals to join its modern fleet as Direct Entry Captains. This innovative carrier is based in Europe and offers extensive opportunities for career progression within its expanding operations.
The airline is recruiting qualified Direct Entry Captains who hold a valid EASA Licence. To facilitate operational readiness, comprehensive type rating training will be provided to the selected candidates.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Prospective applicants must meet the following mandatory minimum requirements:
- Possession of a valid EU Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Current and valid EASA Medical Certificate Class 1.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
- A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) operations. This experience must be accumulated on modern aircraft featuring Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS), Flight Mode Annunciator (FMA), and Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- A minimum of 2,000 flight hours accrued on multi-pilot/multi-engine turbine aircraft (CS-25 certified).
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of verifiable Pilot-in-Command (Command) experience on a CS-25 aircraft.
- Demonstrated prior operational flying experience within the European Union (EU).
Compensation, Terms, and Flexible Roster Options
Employment is offered on a full-time basis, subject to a three-month probationary period. The cost of the type rating is fully covered by the airline, secured by a three-year training bond.
Option 1: Commuting Roster (Effective January 1, 2026 - EU Residents Only)
This structure is exclusively available to EU residents, featuring high rotation stability. Captains will be assigned a dynamic home base within Europe, adjustable based on operational needs. Positioning flights and accommodation are provided for this roster.
- Roster Pattern: 13 days ON followed by 10 consecutive days OFF.
- Annual Guaranteed Base Salary: €96,390 gross up to €106,590 gross, depending on command experience.
- Total Annual Earnings (Average Planned Productivity): Up to €130,800 per annum.
- Daily Flying Payment: €200 per day flown (subject to annual increments).
Option 2: Base Roster (Open to All Nationalities)
This option is open to all nationalities who hold a valid EASA Licence and possess prior EU flying experience. Candidates may choose between two flexible working patterns:
- Flexible Roster: A minimum of 10 days off per calendar month with limited layovers, offering opportunities to bid for preferred days off and specific flights.
- Fixed Roster: A stable 5 days ON / 3 days OFF pattern with no layover restrictions.
- Roster Publication: Both fixed and flexible rosters are published 14 days in advance.
- Annual Guaranteed Base Salary: €113,400 gross up to €125,400 gross, depending on command experience.
- Total Annual Earnings (Average Planned Productivity): Up to €153,680 per annum.
- Daily Flying Payment: €200 per day flown (subject to annual increments).

Application and Assessment Procedure
Applicants who successfully meet the minimum requirements will receive all necessary selection details and an invitation to the comprehensive assessment process.
Stage 1: Online Test
- A mandatory 40-minute online screening test, comprising logical reasoning and personality tasks.
Stage 2: Onsite Assessment (Two Days)
Upon passing the online screening, candidates will be invited to the two-day onsite assessment.
Day 1 Requirements
- Simulator (SIM) assessment followed by a Technical interview.
- A four-hour computer-based test designed to measure cognitive abilities.
Day 2 Requirements (Conditional upon passing Day 1)
- Psychological assessment, including a detailed personality profile test and an interview with a specialized psychologist.
- Final Management interview conducted by the Human Resources department and the Chief Pilot.
To facilitate attendance, flight tickets (within the airline's network) and discounted hotel accommodation are provided for the onsite assessment.
