H145 D3 Touring Captain - Papua New Guinea
Our client, a reputable charter carrier operating rotary aircraft throughout Southeast Asia and Oceania, seeks an experienced H145 D3 Touring Captain for their Papua New Guinea base. This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive remuneration package and equal time touring rotation.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will undertake a dynamic role encompassing both onshore mountain VFR and offshore IFR operations. This challenging position requires an individual with extensive experience operating in demanding environments and a commitment to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong crew resource management skills and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and actively contribute to a positive safety culture.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- 500 hours Pilot-in-Command experience on multi-engine aircraft
- 100 hours on type (H145 D3)
- Valid ATPLH/IR with demonstrable IMC experience
- Longline and Vertical Reference experience preferred
- Proven ability to operate safely in mountainous terrain under VFR conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Desirable Experience:
- Previous H145 instructing experience
- Utility helicopter experience
- A history of operating in austere tropical environments
Candidates must be accident-free within the last three years and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety.
