EASA B737 First Officer - Luxair - Luxembourg
Luxair, a well-established European airline operating short- and medium-haul flights throughout Europe, is seeking highly motivated and qualified B737 First Officers to be based in Luxembourg. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable airline and advance a career in aviation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as a First Officer on the Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Part-FCL (European) ATPL license (or CPL/IFR with frozen ATPL).
- Current Type Rating B737.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Very good command of the English language, ELP 4 or higher.
- European Union (EU)/European Free Trade Association (EFTA) national.
Terms:
- Contract Length: Fixed-term contracts of 20-24 months (can be reduced to 8 months if desired) or Seasonal contract of 10 months, followed by a 2-month break.
- Remuneration: Starting from €5,470.89 per month, increasing with flight hours. Salaries are adjusted in line with the evolution of the costs of living (indexation).
- Housing Allowance: €5,000 for the first contract and €2,500 for the second contract.
- Accommodation: Arranged and provided by the airline if requested, for a maximum duration of 2 weeks after the entry date.
- Supplements: Hourly tax-free supplements for night flights (25%), Sunday work (70%), and legal holidays (100%). Additional monthly flight allowances are also provided, averaging 6-7% on top of the monthly salary (tax-free).
- Allowances: 20€ net (up to 6 hours duty), 30€ net (> 6 hours duty), 60€ net (> 12 hours duty). The average monthly allowance is 350€ net.
- Working Times/Vacation: Stable roster published by the 18th of each month for the following month. Commuting roster options are available. 10 days OFF per month (4 consecutive), return to home base for the majority of evenings, and pro-rated 31 vacation days.
- Social Security & Health Care: Affiliation to the social security system according to European regulations with deductions around 11%. Healthcare benefits for the employee and immediate family members.
